Let’s try something new….DINE AROUND with Boomers
Sunday, April 2, 2023 - Agua Fria at Cimarron - Doors open at 4:30 pm
$20 per person (includes cocktail hour, dinner, dessert and socializing)
Enjoy the opportunity to dine with Boomers Club Members you haven’t met yet or those that you’d like to get to know better! This is the perfect venue to do that!
We have 15 homes that have volunteered to host dinners. Each home will have 6 people plus the 2 hosts. Singles would be paired so there is no need to worry. We will place couples as guests in the same home.
Following is how it all works:
- We would gather at 4:30 pm in the Agua Fria Room for drinks and appetizers served by the club.
- Everyone will get a ticket at check in for one FREE drink of either wine, beer or soft drink. Any other drinks, i.e., mixed drinks – or - any 2nd drink, members will pay for it in cash
- There, the host homes will draw guest names from a hat. That will tell the hosts who is coming to their home and it will tell the guests which host home they’ll be going to
- All hosts will prepare and serve a chicken entree with sides. Wine is optional, either served by the host or brought by the guests.
- Hosts will NOT make dietary accommodations for the dinner.
- There will be no fancy dinner setup is at host homes because this is a very casual evening.
- Dinner would last approximately 90 minutes, ending about 7:30 pm
- After dinner everyone gathers back in the Agua Fria room for dessert (provided by the club), coffee, tea, socializing
